Most of us, either way, have lost the same three things: the rhythm, the discipline, and the companionship of practice.
Tercet rebuilds those three. Nothing else — it takes no side, and asks for no allegiance.

Nine days of quiet attention inward. What's actually going on with you — not what your feed says should be.

Nine days on the people around you. What was said, what was avoided, what needs repair.

Nine days on what you give back — however small. Growth that never leaves your head isn't growth yet.
One integration day closes each 28-day cycle. Thirteen themes unfold in order from the day you begin — plus one day each year, shared by every member on Earth, that belongs to no cycle at all.

Your journal is yours — and invisible.
No profiles, no feed, nothing public, nothing for anyone to find. Export everything you have ever written — in full, anytime, free, forever. Deletion is true deletion, no fine print. These are your inner thoughts; we act like it.

One day a year outside all cycles — a day of rest, and the day we publish our finances.
Where the money goes
Thirds.
Everything Tercet earns — after payment fees and pass-through taxes — splits three ways: one third to the people who build it, never more; one third reinvested; one third to charity, split by member vote across an independently vetted shortlist. Published every year, receipts included, on the day outside the cycles.
Tercet is paid for by the people who use it. No ads, no investors, no data sold — one subscription, and that is the whole of our income. You live a full cycle first, twenty-eight days, everything included; then you decide. If you ever stop, your writing stays yours: you can export every word you ever wrote, free, permanently, whether or not you are still a member.
And if the price is genuinely out of reach, write to us and say so. We will say yes, quietly, and never ask you to prove anything.
Where our threes come from
Our structure is inspired by a pattern found across many traditions — the Trinity, the Trimurti, the stages of the nafs, the trikaya, Plato's chariot. These are not the same thing, and we never claim they are. We wrote down exactly what we borrow, what we don't, and how to correct us if we get it wrong.
A practice, not a position
Tercet never asks what you believe. We will never try to pull anyone from their faith, and we will never block the road back to it. If ten honest minutes a day lead you deeper into your tradition, that is a success. If they lead you somewhere new, that is a success. The honesty is the point; the destination is yours.
We come from Mauritius — an island where temples, churches, and mosques share the same streets and the same public holidays. Tercet is built from that habit of coexistence.
From the founder
I'm Jo, from Mauritius. Self-taught in tech since I was six, a musician, and someone who spent years reading his way through and beyond the religion he grew up in. I kept waiting for a tool that took the inner life seriously without pushing me toward any answer — or selling me one. It didn't come, so my wife and I are building it.
Every question in Tercet was written by one of us, by hand — no generated prompts, no licensed content, nothing bought off a shelf. You'll always know who makes this and where the money goes.
